OUR VALUES

What would we want if we were to hire a consultant? That's what we thought about when we founded Avatar Strategic Partners, and that question has guided us in our values and practices.

• Listen First. If we are to serve you well, we must understand what you need, and that requires us to ask questions, listen, and think. We'll have time to offer opinions, provide direction, and guide action, but it's not our agenda that's driving the work, it's yours.
• A Sense of Urgency. We'd hire a consultant only if we had an important goal and we didn't have the time or knowledge to do it ourselves. We'd want the consultant to react to the importance of our need with a sense of urgency. So that's how we approach attainment of your objectives.
• Vendor Neutrality. How do you respond to an approach best stated as "I have a solution. Now what's your problem?" We're not fond of it either. We're vendor neutral so we can keep your requirements foremost in our minds.
• And need we say it? Ethics. As a member of the Institute of Management Consultants USA, we honor the IMC Code of Ethics.
